On development and grant projects, Wren said Brownfield reimbursement agreements in the city of Fremont remain unresolved; staff are working through language changes and he did not expect action this week. He told the committee the county is transitioning retirement services to Mission Square and that the contractor Emmerich Company has attempted to alter the existing contract language during the transition.
Wren said engineering work on the Hardee Dam Marina continues with minor plan designs underway; he also described a state‑level pause on spillway work that affects multiple counties and left local officials waiting for a promised update. Wren thanked staff and noted the county offices will be closed on Good Friday.
