Members of the Temple City Council and city staff conducted a series of public interviews on Monday to fill volunteer seats on several of the city’s advisory boards and commissions.
The interviews covered a range of boards — including the Library Board, Parks and Recreation Board, Airport Advisory Board, the Development Standards Advisory Board (DSAB) and neighborhood-revitalization groups — and drew applicants from construction, banking, engineering and small-business backgrounds.
City staff and council members said the session is part of the regular appointments process. Staff indicated the council intends to finalize selected appointments at the next council meeting this week.
