• Sign-standards appeal (Item 6, FY-25-1-APL) — The commission voted unanimously to recommend city council approve a 50-foot pylon sign and a 279.22-square-foot sign area for a proposed McDonald’s at 12731 Northeast HK Dodgene Loop, per staff recommendation. The applicant had requested a 75-foot pylon sign and the I‑35 Gateway overlay sets a 35-foot maximum without an appeal.
All recorded votes were unanimous; roll call was taken by Kathy Gover for each motion.
