Parks Commission approves temporary relocation of Vietnam Memorial Cross near Mingus Park flagpole

The Coos Bay Parks Commission on May 15 voted to relocate the Vietnam Memorial Cross within Mingus Park to one of the designated southern sites near the flagpole and amended the motion to direct staff to install a removable or "sacrificial" base to allow future relocation.
