EDA approves architect and landscaping work for enterprise building; drawings to be reviewed at April retreat

The Portsmouth Economic Development Authority on March 18 voted to accept two proposals to support design work on an enterprise building and site landscaping.
Marvin Pink moved to accept proposals from the architect (identified as 3761) to develop conceptual exterior design options for the enterprise building and to accept CLOGS Landscaping’s proposal for vegetation work at 1220 High Street for $5,770. The board approved the motion by roll call, 6‑0.
Chair Mitchell and staff said architectural drawings for the enterprise building will be reviewed at the authority’s annual retreat on April 11. The EDA plans an all‑day retreat focused on the Crawford Bay initiative, the Innovation District and an entertainment district; staff said breakfast and lunch will be provided and that the retreat agenda will be circulated in advance.
Staff told the board it will finalize contracts with the selected architect and landscaper and present conceptual options at the April meeting.
