The Danville City Commission approved the payment of the month’s bills totaling $1,668,891.57 and received several administrative updates from the city manager on upcoming events and the municipal audit schedule.
A commissioner moved to approve the bills “in the amount of $1,668,891.57 as presented”; the motion carried on a voice vote. City Manager Kofi told commissioners the auditor would be on site in June and the audit remained on schedule for an August delivery. The manager also reviewed several upcoming dates, including Memorial Day city-hall closure and airport ribbon-cutting activities.
Staff included the monthly financial report for April in the commission packet but did not dive into detail during the meeting because much of the budget discussion was taking place in the budget process. Commissioners did not request additional public hearing or budget amendments at the meeting.
