Commission backs letter seeking state help for proposed road to divert quarry truck traffic

Commissioner Bush made the motion to support the road and to authorize the mayor to sign the letter; Commissioner Powell seconded. The commission voted unanimously in favor. Scott said the city would not be out construction money but would consider maintenance obligations after the road was built to municipal specifications.
