Commission approves annual maintenance agreement for property tax software

Carol (staff) asked the Franklin City Commission to renew the annual maintenance and service agreement for the municipality's property tax tracking software, referred to as Government Utilities Technology Services (GUTS). Carol said the cost is unchanged from the past four years at $1,970.
Commissioner Stewart moved to accept the renewal; Commissioner McQuery provided the second. A roll call vote followed with Commissioner Busch, Mayor Dixon, Commissioner McCrary, Commissioner Stewart, Commissioner Powell and Commissioner Bush recorded in favor. The motion passed unanimously.
City staff said the contract renewal will allow continued tracking of property tax payments and related services under the same annual fee.
