County approves federal-aid transportation projects and consultant amendments for bridge, roundabout and intersection work

Finally, supervisors authorized funding and a consultant amendment for intersection improvements at County Route 109 (Plank Road) and Kins Road in the town of Clifton Park. The committee authorized $111,303 for additional preliminary and detailed design services and amended the agreement with CPL Architects, Engineers, and Landscape Architect DPC accordingly; the county's portion of the expenses was presented as $5,565.
Supervisor Grosso recused himself from the public works agenda items and voting on those matters; the recusal was noted in the meeting record. All motions related to the public works projects were approved by voice vote, and staff indicated the funds will be used for construction, design, and inspection services as described in the agenda materials.
