Council appoints three directors to Missouri City Management District No. 1 board

On April 21 the Missouri City Council approved appointments to the Missouri City Management District No. 1 board, confirming David A. Jackson, Karen E. Travellstead and Wilford J. Green to continue as directors.
City Secretary Crystal Rome presented the item and explained state law requires the governing body to approve a board-submitted slate. Staff said Jackson has served since February 2023, Travellstead since February 2019 and Green since February 2016.
Mayor Pro Tem Brown Marshall moved to approve the slate; Council Member Clauser seconded. The motion carried 7-0.
Ending: Appointees will serve as the district's voting directors under the board's submitted slate; council took no other action on the district's governance matters at the meeting.
