On the Cook Road package, the council authorized the mayor to enter an agreement related to the lift-station relocation and approved an associated pay estimate/change order of $157,415.01 tied to the Cook Road compensation work (as stated in the meeting record). The council also approved a payment application (payment application 001) of $123,153.08 to Arbor Construction LLC for the East Railroad Avenue Drainage Improvement project and approved a small change order related to a drainage box replacement on Range Avenue.
The council authorized a one-year service agreement with Pelican Playgrounds for annual safety inspection of the Kids Corner playground and accepted a quote of $800 for the inspection and recommendations. Council members also authorized two contracts with L. King Company LLC: one for a vortex/grit removal system rehab at the wastewater facility (amount recorded in the meeting as $389,396) and another for the Crowley Bridge sand filter rehab (amount recorded as $495,170.40). Staff noted 90-day construction windows for the L. King Company work.
