The City of Mission authorized a contract award for a manhole rehabilitation project to Reno Works LLC at Tuesday’s meeting.
Staff reported that the city opened six bids for the Manhole Rehabilitation Project and recommended awarding Bid No. 25-4550507 to Reno Works LLC as the lowest responsible bidder meeting specifications. The award amount was reported in the meeting record as $228,000. Staff said the work will rehabilitate about 15 manholes throughout the city; the city’s crews will perform related plant work in-house. Funding for the project comes from Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds that had available balances to cover the work.
Council voted unanimously to authorize the award. City staff did not provide a contractor schedule or project start/completion dates in the meeting record; follow-up procurement and notice-to-proceed steps will be handled by Public Works.
