I want them to eat at our restaurants,” Lohman said, arguing the feature could become a destination and be built cost-effectively alongside the Lions Park project.
Council members thanked the speakers and indicated the request remains under consideration as Lions Park planning continues. Councilman Suitor (surname spelled in transcript variably) told the speakers the idea “is not gonna be forgotten.”
No formal action was taken during the meeting; public comment closed before the council moved to its consent agenda.
