City finance chief: Frisco fiscal year is on track at midpoint

Derek Hahn, Frisco’s chief financial officer, told the City Council on April 15 that both the general fund and the utility fund are tracking as expected at the halfway point of the fiscal year.
Hahn said general fund sales-tax receipts are running slightly ahead of the assumptions used in the budget process and that staff will continue to monitor revenue. He provided council with the written midyear budget status report and offered to answer questions.
Council raised no substantive questions during the meeting and moved on to the next reports.
