The Frisco City Council recessed into closed session at about 5:17 p.m. and later reconvened at 7:26 p.m. with no action to take, the mayor said.
The items announced as the basis for the closed session included: consultation with the city attorney under Texas Government Code Section 551.071 to receive legal advice about regulating vape shops; deliberation under Section 551.072 regarding potential land purchases in multiple areas identified north of Panther Creek and north of Sam Rayburn, west of the Dallas North Tollway and south of State Highway 380; and deliberation under Section 551.087 about commercial or financial information related to a business prospect and potential incentives.
A motion to recess into executive session was moved and seconded on the record and the council voted 6-0 to recess. After reconvening later in the evening the mayor stated there was no action to take as a result of the executive session.
