Monique Sharp, the township president and CEO, said staff reviewed 17 proposals and recommended SGR because of its focus on local government facilitation and relevant experience. The selected facilitator would conduct pre-work interviews with board members and staff and lead a day-and-a-half session designed to set strategic objectives and clarify board-staff relations. The total fee quoted to the township including travel and interviews is $17,008.50, which Sharp said falls within the approved budget.
