Valley transit presenter asks county for $3,500 contribution as vehicle shortages delay fleet replacement

The presenter said the transit agency is pursuing a procurement cooperative to speed vehicle delivery and that the Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) has not joined the co-op. He also said the agency would apply for an additional grant to cover its SentinelOne antivirus and hoped any county contribution would reduce the local share. "As agreed, I'm asking for the $3,500," the presenter told commissioners. Commissioners did not take immediate action on the request at the meeting; staff follow-up was implied.
