The motion passed.
In superintendent remarks following the vote, district leadership thanked the community for supporting the bond in a recent election, saying the bond’s passage would lessen the magnitude of reductions the district otherwise would have had to consider. The superintendent also publicly thanked the Battle Creek Education Association and community partners for outreach and support during the bond campaign.
