Justice Court staff and presiding justices reviewed the proposed lines. Justice of the Peace 1 said the office needs a new copier (existing machines are beyond repair and parts are unavailable) and requested funds already budgeted in an IT capital plan. The office requested $2,500 for postage (annual jury mailings and general court business) and noted planned steps to reduce jury costs by encouraging earlier settlement with prosecuting and defense offices.
