On May 14, 2025, the Pondera County Commission approved an encroachment agreement allowing Tyson Rambo to run an irrigation pipeline under Sunshine Road, approximately 1.5 miles west of a county frontage road, the commission said at the meeting.
A county official described the work as an underground crossing of the roadway for an irrigation pipeline; the presenter said the location is not a high-traffic area. A commissioner moved to approve Tyson Rambo’s encroachment request and the motion was seconded; the commission voted in favor.
The approval authorizes the county to issue the encroachment permit subject to standard conditions (digging, road restoration, and any bonding or inspection requirements), as reflected in the meeting agenda packet. No additional road closures or traffic-control details were discussed publicly at the meeting.
