Committee replaces fire advisory board representative, approves updates to county domestic terrorism prevention plan

Warren County supervisors on April 21 approved an amendment to appointments to the Warren County Fire Advisory Board and approved revisions to the county’s Domestic Terrorism Prevention Plan to reflect updated state guidance.
The board amendment replaces Evan Donnegan as the Department of Environmental Conservation representative on the Fire Advisory Board with his supervisor, Marie Arnold, the committee was told. Supervisors approved the appointing resolution amendment by voice vote.
The committee then considered revisions to the Warren County Domestic Terrorism Prevention Plan. Anne Marie of the Office of Emergency Services said the updated plan incorporates additional state guidance that the state asked be referenced in local plans.
"This plan is actually incorporating some additional guidance that the state put out for the domestic terrorism prevention program," Anne Marie said. "They wanted some more information about public outreach, developing active shooter plans, engaging in school safety. So they really just wanted to have that specifically referenced in the new plans."
Supervisors praised the document’s clarity and moved to approve the revisions. The plan revision was approved by voice vote with no recorded opposition.
Hard copies of the revised plan were distributed at the meeting, committee members said. No implementation timeline or new funding for the plan was discussed at the meeting.
