Planning staff told the county board that the Spring Motor Inn referral lacked a complete site plan when submitted; staff had requested the plan but did not receive it by the stated deadline. The proposed project would add seven efficient cabins (14 units divided into twin units with 14 toilets and 14 sinks) and staff reported sewer‑capacity checks are in progress, including confirmation of a 6‑inch sewer line, but the final sewer letter was not yet on file.
Because the submission was not a full statement for county review, staff advised the board that the county review clock does not start until a complete packet is received. A board member moved to table the Spring Motor Inn application; the motion was seconded and the board voted in favor to table the item pending receipt of a full site plan and sewer confirmation.
Staff also reported permit notices and minor applications on the agenda: a replacement single‑family dwelling in Head of Lakeshore (application previously reviewed in April), and multiple two‑lot subdivision application receipts at Chandler Woods Road and Fernwood Lakes/Putnam areas. Staff indicated those items were at the application‑received or minor public‑notice stage and will be processed per normal timelines.
The board’s action to table Spring Motor Inn preserves the county’s ability to review the project once a complete submission arrives; staff will notify the town and applicant of the outstanding materials needed to commence county review.
