Supervisor Driscoll asked whether the request repeated a prior month’s item; Director Bob and other supervisors confirmed this was the same type of administrative reclassification that had been brought earlier in the year.
A second budget request related to probation — a short transfer from salaries into overtime to cover miscellaneous overtime needs — was added to the agenda after the posted packet. Several supervisors said they did not have the revised packet at their seats and the committee agreed to postpone that transfer until the next meeting so the item could be publicly available online before action.
The committee approved the trainee position by voice vote.
