Committee accepts temporary sewer-line dedication from Irving Tissue, authorizes chairman to sign documents

The Washington County Public Works Committee on April 2025 authorized the chairman to sign documents to accept a temporary sewer-line dedication from Irving Tissue, the Sewer District reported.
Sewer District staff said Irving Tissue completed a temporary sewer-line relocation in 2024 and the county has finished engineering and legal reviews. "This is the remaining handouts, Irving Tissue did a temporary sewer line relocation in 2024, and we've completed our engineering and legal review, and we're looking to accept the dedication of the new temporary line," the staff member said. Staff noted the line is called "temporary" and that a permanent line location is expected within the next couple of years.
A motion to authorize the chairman to sign any and all documents related to the line dedication was moved by Dave, seconded, and approved by voice vote with all in favor; the motion carried.
Committee members recorded that the county will accept the dedication now and handle further changes when the permanent alignment is established.
