All the other roles have been submitted and, we've so we've been able to take on a little more work with less people," Miranda said.
Board members asked procedural questions about how the temporary appointment works and whether the arrangement mirrors past temporary coverage. Staff said the arrangement is a stopgap to get through the next weeks, with a contract between the town and county to formalize the temporary appointment.
