The Wimberley City Council approved a conditional‑use permit to allow operation of a short‑term rental (STR‑2) at 110 Malone Drive.
Assistant City Administrator for Development Services Nathan Glazier said, “This is a conditional use permit request for a short term rental 2 at 110 Malone Drive,” and described the property as a three‑quarter‑acre lot with a small house and driveway parking. He reported the application was properly noticed, letters were mailed to neighbors within 200 feet, and the Planning and Zoning Commission had unanimously recommended approval.
The council opened and closed the public hearing without public comment. A motion to approve the conditional use permit carried unanimously; the mayor announced the vote as “4‑0.” The permit authorizes a maximum of four guests, per the application submitted to the city.
Ending: No appeals or conditions were recorded in the hearing; staff and Planning and Zoning had not received any written neighbor comments as of the meeting.
