Gates open at 6:30 p.m., and the movies begin at 7:30 p.m.; concessions will be available and the athletic club will provide concessions for both screenings. The March 28 movie will include a roaming animal show tied to the movie theme.
Staff announced Coach Cox’s Kids Race at Stewart Creek Park on April 12 at 7:30 a.m., with a half‑mile race for ages 5–9 and a one‑mile race for ages 10–12. Registration is open.
Mother‑Son Adventure Day will be held May 10 at the new Fritz’s Adventure Park with two sessions, 10 a.m.–1 p.m. and 2 p.m.–5 p.m.; tickets go on sale March 17.
Parks staff also previewed the spring extravaganza scheduled for April 17, a free festival with games, rides, petting zoo, crafts and egg hunts (egg‑hunt tickets go on sale March 21). Staff said egg‑hunt pre‑sale tickets are $5 and day‑of tickets are $10.
Staff closed by asking council to share the events with residents; no council action was required on the presentation.
