Resident urges city action after repeated crashes on Ferno Drive

Davison said the city performed a speed study last year that recorded an average speed of about 44 mph in front of her home where the posted limit is 30 mph. "I cannot I will not take my daughter out in front of our house because of the reckless driving that goes on unless I have her in my arms," she said.
Davison asked council to consider traffic-calming measures such as speed bumps and requested follow-up from city staff. A city public-safety representative acknowledged the concern and staff indicated someone would follow up with the resident after the meeting.
Location and next steps: Davison said her address is 3917 (near Branch Hollow) and described the segment as used as a cut‑through from Hebron to Rosemead. City staff said they would be in touch to review enforcement, engineering and traffic-calming options.
