Carrollton City Council unanimously adopted a resolution approving the city’s 2025 Sustainability Plan on Jan. 21 after a brief presentation and no public speakers.
The resolution to adopt the 2025 Sustainability Plan (item 20) was moved by Council member Palacios and seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Richard Fleming. Council took a roll-call vote; all present members voted in favor.
City staff said council had been briefed on the sustainability plan in earlier meetings and described the printed plan as professionally produced. No substantive discussion or amendments were recorded on the dais during the vote, and staff indicated the plan will be a multi-year guide for the city’s sustainability efforts.
The resolution passed by unanimous roll-call vote; staff will proceed with implementation steps consistent with the adopted plan and existing departmental responsibilities.
