Monica and Public Works staff briefed council on the status of multiple Capital Improvement Program projects, noting completed items and work remaining on others.
Highlights included a failed pool motor; staff said a repair/contract recommendation will come to council at the next meeting so the pool can open in time for the season. The wastewater collection system rehabilitation was listed as complete, and the Baharutka Lift Station is complete. The 97 Lift Station contractor is preparing numbers and staff noted a separate annexation lift station is required for Buttercup Lane and will appear as an agenda item later.
Staff reported that the water side of the SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition) system is complete and in the process of being brought online; wastewater-side SCADA tower installation is underway and expected to be operational within a couple of months. The streets project (C Street) shows 30% plans submitted by Triune. The new police department foundation and concrete have been poured and construction will continue following curing.
No formal votes were taken on the CIP update; staff identified near‑term procurement items (pool motor repair and lift station engineering) that will return as agenda items.
