Mansfield honors outgoing select board members Michael Trowbridge and Diana Bren

Representative Scanlon said both members modeled collaboration and constituent service; one citation read in part: "The Massachusetts House of Representatives offers sincerest congratulations to Michael Trowbridge and Diana Bren in recognition of dedicating many years of service to the Select Board in the town of Mansfield." A representative of Sen. Markey read certificates of special congressional recognition that were to be mailed to both honorees.
Mansfield Electric General Manager Joe Salcedo also spoke, thanking the two members for support of the town-owned electric utility and recounting instances when both accompanied him to regional advocacy on public power.
Each honoree spoke briefly. Trowbridge thanked staff, colleagues and family and said he planned to spend more time with family; Bren thanked residents and town staff and said she had enjoyed her service.
