Select Board approves transfer of Xfinity Center alcohol license to Legends Music LLC

The Select Board held a public hearing and unanimously approved March 5 the transfer of the Xfinity Center's all-alcohol on-premises license from New England Sports Service Inc. to Legends Music LLC.
Attorney Elizabeth Pisano, representing Legends Music LLC, introduced the company's team, including regional manager Amanda Parker and licensing specialist Alec Gelman. Pisano said the transfer would not change venue operations: "All operations are to remain the exact same," and she noted Legends was chosen by Live Nation as the new food-and-beverage operator.
Pisano described Legends's track record at large venues and said the proposed manager of record, Jamie Rivera, "has been working at the Xfinity Center specifically since 2017" and is TIP-certified; she said Legends planned that every staff member handling alcohol would receive TIP (Training for Intervention Procedures) certification. Legends representatives said they expect roughly 80'85% of the prior season's staff to return.
Board members asked routine regulatory questions, and public comment was not offered. Following a motion and second, the board voted to approve the license transfer unanimously.
The board's motion was: "Motion to approve transfer of an all alcohol on premises license for Legends Music LLC doing business as Xfinity Center." The motion passed unanimously.
