The Mansfield Select Board unanimously approved a change-of-manager application for the Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant at its Feb. 19 meeting, confirming Gina Miceli as the establishment's new general manager.
Miceli told the board she has worked for the company for 10 years and became the Mansfield restaurant's general manager on Jan. 27. “I am the new general manager. I've been with the company 10 years. I came to Mansfield 3 years ago as the assistant general manager. And as of January 27, I am now the general manager,” Miceli said.
Town members emphasized the legal and administrative responsibilities that sit with the manager named on an alcohol license. Select Board member Michael reminded Miceli that the town treats alcohol licenses seriously and that the manager listed on the license must notify the town manager’s office if they leave the position. “We take alcohol license[s] very seriously and your name is the one that's on that license… you have to let the town manager's office know,” Michael said.
Walter moved to approve the change-of-manager application; the motion was seconded and passed unanimously. The board did not specify any additional conditions on the license in the public record of the meeting.
The approval allows Buffalo Wild Wings to operate under Miceli's management while carrying the responsibilities associated with the town's alcohol licensing rules.
