Court assigns magistrates to inspect Yellowstone Road and Dogwood Lane

The court asked for volunteers to look at Yellowstone Road, described as roughly 1,000 feet of gravel in the Second District that does not currently meet county specifications. Magistrate Ranshaw and Magistrate Strunk were appointed to inspect Yellowstone Road and report back. The court also appointed a committee to inspect Dogwood Lane in the Green Meadows development; Magistrate Ranshaw volunteered and Magistrate Wheeland agreed to accompany him.
A motion to form the inspection committees for both roads passed by voice vote. The court instructed the appointed magistrates to evaluate whether each road meets county standards and to return findings and any recommendations for action at the next fiscal court meeting.
