At its April 29, 2025, meeting, the North Ridgeville City Schools Board of Education approved a package of seven human-resources items in a single reading and heard presentations introducing four new administrative hires, district leaders said.
The human-resources package, described in the meeting as seven items, included two administrative staff resignations, one certified staff resignation and four administrative contracts. Superintendent Kesteros presented the candidates and background information on the hires after the board completed the human-resources vote.
Board member Mr. Haines moved to approve the human-resources items in one reading; Mr. Burjke seconded the motion. During the roll call, Mr. Haynes, Mr. Freaksley, Mrs. McCarthy, Mrs. Saxon and Mr. Vaca recorded “yes” votes. The motion carried.
Following the vote, district representatives introduced four administrators the board had approved: Andrea Vance, Jennifer Pinto, John Thompson and Kelsey Molina. Andrea Vance was described as having worked more than 18 years in the district with recent roles at ECLC and LEAR; the presentation said she will serve as an associate at NRAC for third- and fourth-grade levels and bring literacy experience spanning pre-K through grade 4. Jennifer Pinto was introduced as having joined the district the previous year as an assistant at Liberty; presenters said she has classroom experience in early childhood education and has worked as a literacy coach at Keystone.
John Thompson was presented as a hire from Garfield Heights City School District, with a background as a social-studies teacher and experience as an assistant principal and principal; he was described as filling a grades 7–8 role at NRACC. Kelsey Molina was introduced as joining from Avon City Schools, where she served the past three years as an assistant high-school principal and previously worked as a high-school science teacher; the district said she will serve as an assistant at the high school and contribute to building the new high-school team.
