In public works items, the commission approved rehiring Brian Little as a part-time seasonal mower operator effective May 27, 2025, with hours limited to six months or 1,000 hours, whichever comes first; the motion passed by voice vote. The commission also approved hiring Ty Dilbeck as a maintenance worker effective May 12, 2025; the motion carried by voice vote.
Commissioners noted that several of the hires will fill vacant positions and provide needed backup for mowing and driving duties. No contested personnel disputes or appeals were raised during the motions.
