The board voted with Benton, Gary Merrill, Appelfeller, Mark Davis and Kevin Davidson recorded as voting "Aye." Commissioner Lewis was recorded absent. The motion carried.
A brief procedural exchange occurred about meeting logistics: a commissioner asked whether the May 12 hearing would be held “down there as well, like the last one,” and Appelfeller confirmed the Marion County commissioners were participating remotely for the April 15 session.
