Commissioners set hearings and viewings for three drainage petitions across county

The board approved resolution 25-343 to set the date, time and place for a final hearing on the proposed Chancel Sale Gate watershed drainage improvement and approved resolution 25-344 to set viewing and a public hearing for a drainage-improvement petition for the Warrant 129 watershed filed by Richard R. Lehner, Earl E. Lehner and others. Both motions passed unanimously.
Separately, the board approved resolution 25-352 approving a drainage maintenance petition and ditch maintenance assessment for a 27.892-acre CoLogic site (COL 5) at the southeast corner of Home Road and Green Meadows Drive in Orange Township. Lee Bogart of the county engineer’s office told commissioners a percentage of property owners had submitted the petition and staff recommended approval.
Commissioners voted aye on all three items. Staff indicated the actions start the formal public-review and assessment processes for drainage work and maintenance in the specified watersheds and on the CoLogic development site.
