Commissioners approve interim economic development contract with Management Advisory Group

The Delaware County Board of Commissioners on March 3 approved a professional services agreement with Management Advisory Group LLC to provide interim economic development management and other consulting services (resolution 25-157).
Tracy Davies, county administrator, said the county issued a request for proposals and received one submittal. The firm will deliver economic development services and other consulting as outlined in the contract. Davies recommended approval and commissioners agreed, with Barb Lewis and Gary Merrill both voting aye.
Commissioners praised the quality of prior service from the firm and noted contacts the consultant brings from other jurisdictions. No contract dollar amount or specific project list was presented during the meeting; commissioners said they expect the firm to assist county staff with ongoing economic development work and related tasks.
