Delaware County commissioners approve routine resolutions, contracts and proclamations; set hearings and procurement steps

Delaware County Board of Commissioners on March 6, 2025 approved a series of routine resolutions, procurement steps, intergovernmental agreements and proclaimed weeks/months in recognition of agriculture and developmental disabilities. All listed motions passed by recorded aye votes of the three commissioners: Barb Lewis (president), Jeff Benton (vice president) and Gary Merrill (commissioner).
The board approved the electronic record of proceedings for March 3, 2025 (Resolution 25-160) and approved purchase orders, payroll warrants and transfers in batch CMAPR0305/MTAPR0305 (25-161). The board granted an annexation petition for 84.3 acres in Delaware Township to the City of Delaware (25-162) and set a date and time for viewing and public hearing on a drainage‑improvement petition for the Evergreen Cemetery watershed filed by Berlin Township trustees (25-163).
The board proclaimed March 16–20, 2025 as National Agricultural Week in Delaware County (25-164) and recognized March 2025 as Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month (25-165). It approved a second amendment increasing funding by $5,000 to the Guardianship Services Board through an agreement among the Court of Common Pleas (Probate Division), the Board of Commissioners and the Department of Job and Family Services (25-166).
