Commissioners approve transfer to cover Ohio START expenses for Job and Family Services

Jennifer Watenshey, business administrator with Job and Family Services, said the transfer covers salary and benefits for a dedicated staff member who works with families needing additional drug counseling and substance-abuse services through Ohio START.
"So it's to cover our Ohio START expenses. It's for families that need assistance with additional drug counseling, substance abuse issues… We have a dedicated individual that works with these types of clients and their salary and benefits are all complete this transfer," Watenshey said.
Commissioners voted to approve the resolution. The meeting record did not specify the dollar amount for this transfer or any additional line-item breakdowns.
