County committee approves multiple plats, CSMs and minor conditional-use amendments

The Walworth County Zoning Agency approved a number of routine land‑use items at its May 15 hearing, including subdivision and certified survey map approvals and site-plan amendments.

Highlights of approvals: Providence Farms subdivision final plat (staff recommended; town approval on record) was approved; a certified survey map to adjust lot lines for John Jay and Catherine Bush between Camp Sybil and Shore Haven subdivisions was approved with conditions to record deed restrictions that preserve out-lot nonbuildability; Gage Marine Holdings received an amendment approving a reduced repair building (from 23,920 sq. ft. to 12,000 sq. ft.) and parking shown on a revised site plan; America the Beautiful LLC’s landscaping business received a minor site-plan amendment allowing reconfigured drive aisles, dry storage and revised parking layout; and the City of Delavan was granted a conditional-use approval for a DNR-regulated clean-burn site within an existing gravel pit for municipal brush disposal (no public drop-off, municipal use only).

Staff confirmed sanitation, planning and land-conservation divisions found no outstanding technical concerns on these items and said conditions will be incorporated into recorded documents. Several minor conditions required deed restrictions (for the CSM) or revised site plans (for building relocation and parking). All items were approved by majority voice vote during the hearing.
