Park County LAC approves January and February minutes, records $1,000 trust deposit

At its March 20, 2025 LAC meeting, the Park County Local Advisory Committee approved the January and February meeting minutes and recorded a $1,000 deposit from a Bridal Trust received March 17, bringing the committee’s reported balance to $5,632.52.

The approvals came after motions and seconds on each set of minutes. Committee member Eleanor moved to approve the January minutes; Rebecca seconded the motion, which carried on a voice vote. Julie Anderson moved to approve the February minutes; Jenny Jo seconded, and that motion also passed on a voice vote.

The committee reviewed the treasurer’s report, which listed a beginning amount of $4,632.52 and the subsequent $1,000 deposit from the Bridal Trust, bringing the reported total to $5,632.52. A committee member noted that $200 had been allocated for background checks for the drop-in center but said the background checks had not yet been completed. Committee members also noted recent volunteer recruitment work related to that effort.

Members discussed minor technical difficulties during the meeting (participants joining and dropping from the online connection) but took the administrative actions described above and passed both sets of minutes. Committee members referenced providing the updated account information to Cheryl and said the deposit appeared on records after March 17.

The meeting moved on after the treasurer’s report; committee members indicated the background-check expense and volunteer onboarding work remain outstanding items for follow-up.
