Amy Tittkemeyer Stevens, an LAC member, led discussion about banners and printed outreach for Mental Health Awareness Month and said the council will finalize a layout and send it to the printer.
“If everyone's okay with that most updated, layout that Megan Eubanks did, I will go ahead and finalize that with her, send it to Chris King, and then I have to send it over to the printers,” Amy Tittkemeyer Stevens said. Board members discussed doing roughly six large banners to balance cost and storage considerations.
Members reported substantial local distribution of table-top and flat print materials. One volunteer said about 230 pieces had been folded or prepared for distribution; county schools and public offices, Livingston Healthcare and several small businesses had agreed to display materials. A storage fee for materials kept at the printer or distributor was described by one member as minimal.
The group also discussed a billboard arrangement at a local Ace location; a board volunteer said the company has previously sponsored a month of billboard space and that the current plan would again be covered by the sponsor.
Council volunteers agreed to circulate a distribution list so members could sign up to refill locations. The printed calendar for May events (weekly topic focus and volunteer-led classes) will be circulated to partners for additional placement in public venues.
The treasurer reported $5,623.52 in the council bank account, which members said would be used to help cover printing and related costs where needed.
