The Plan Commission granted on May 21 a request to publish a primary-plat public hearing for Grace Church NWI’s proposed ministry center at 13809 West 100 Ninth (petition 2025-09). The applicant told the commission that updated primary-plat materials addressing town engineering comments were returned and that the town’s reviewer advised the packet was sufficient to proceed to a public hearing.
Applicant representative said the team planned a meeting with Lake County Highway and town staff to confirm the final driveway location; once that meeting occurs the applicant intends to resubmit final engineering and pursue secondary approvals in July. The commission approved a motion to accept publication; the hearing is planned for June 18.
