Boyle County approves contract with Codell Construction for public safety building

Judge Bottom also noted the contract includes customary fees for architect and contractor services; during the meeting staff disclosed a 7% architect/engineering fee and a 6% construction fee component in the total project budget. The court authorized the county judge to sign the agreement and proceed with architect and construction coordination.
Next steps: Harris said Codell will begin the design coordination process with the county and its architect; staff said scheduling and early design meetings will follow. The court's vote was unanimous.
