The Court approved the County Road Aid cooperative agreement for fiscal year 2025–26, a motor-fuel-tax allocation intended for county road construction, reconstruction and maintenance. County Treasurer Mr. Johnson said the allocation for fiscal year 2025–26 is $1,802,789.46 and that the state typically pays 60% of the allocation in August while withholding 3% for a statewide emergency fund.
The Court also approved Amendment No. 1 to the health services agreement with Southern Health Partners Inc. for the Daviess County Detention Center. The finance presentation said the negotiated annual contract price effective July 1, 2025, will be $1,452,185.76 (an increase of 4% over the prior year). Jayler Maglinger, detention management, is identified in the record as having approved the changes.
