The jailer and staff described technical advantages of the new model, including improved performance at shorter engagement distances useful in detention settings. Staff said the contract includes a five‑year warranty and covers cartridges and training required by the vendor.
The resolution passed on a roll call with the court voting yes in favor; the motion and second were recorded and the contract will be executed by the judge executive or designee.
