Council adopts resolution 2025-04 raising community center rental fees as facility nears completion

She noted the facility's finishing work is ongoing — appliances are being installed and a center island remains — and the center still requires final sign-offs from public health, fire and the building inspector before it opens to the public.
During the discussion a councilor asked whether the city would hold an open house when the facility is ready. Staff said an open house and posting of the new fee schedule would be appropriate once inspections are complete and the facility is commissioned.
Motion and vote: A council member moved to adopt Resolution 2025-04 and the motion passed on a recorded voice vote of 5-0.
