Trumbull County investment advisory committee elects officers, sets 2025 meeting schedule

The Trumbull County Investment Advisory Committee held its organizational meeting Jan. 29 and elected officers for the coming year, established membership and record-keeping policy sign-offs, and adopted 2025 meeting dates and locations listed in the committee packet.

Committee members nominated and elected Sam Lamacusa as chairperson, Rick Hernandez as vice chairperson and Tony Bernard as secretary. The initial motion to nominate those officers was moved, seconded and approved by roll call; later the committee moved to formally elect the nominees by roll call, with Bernard, Hernandez, Clerk of Court Randy Law and Treasurer Sam Lamacusa recorded as voting yes.

The committee also approved an internal membership meetings and record-keeping policy that was included in the meeting packet and established the 2025 meeting dates and the County Administration Building, 5th Floor meeting room as the regular meeting location. The transcript lists meeting dates in the packet; the committee accepted the schedule and the clerk circulated sign-off sheets for members to acknowledge receipt of the policy and dates.

The reorganizational meeting concluded by unanimous roll-call votes and the committee then proceeded into its regular quarterly meeting.
